STOCKHOLM, June 15 (Xinhua) -- The Shanghai World Expo is unprecedented, said Olof Zetterberg, CEO of Stockholm Business Region in an exclusive interview with Xinhua on Tuesday.
"I have been to other world expos before, but compared with the Shanghai one, they were almost very local. But in Shanghai, it is unprecedented, it is something extra," Zetterberg said in Stockholm.
Zetterberg just came back from a trip to Shanghai to visit the World Expo there.
"It is gigantic and fantastic. I have never seen such a thing, with such a huge area with so many people. And it is interesting to see that so many countries throughout the world want to show the best they have and the Chinese Pavilion was something excellent, it was a very very interesting experience to be in the Shanghai World Expo," Zetterberg said.
"It was very good and some of the features were very interesting to see. There was a very good film about the development in Shanghai over the past 20 years. We started with the film and that was a very good film," he recalled.
In order to visit the Chinese pavilion, people had to wait in a long queue for many hours, and it even took two hours to gain access to the Swedish Pavilion in Shanghai, he added.
Zetterberg, who is promoting Stockholm business to China, also expressed the hope that more Chinese investors could come to Sweden.
