Ridha Ben Mosbah, Minister of Trade and Handicrafts of Government of Tunisia, said that Expo 2010 is well-organized and has gained positive responses from foreign countries as well as active participation.
The Tunisia Pavilion with the theme "Enthusiastic City, Connected City" is designed to showcase the African country's achievements in fields such as knowledge economy, environment protection and improving people's living standard, he continued.

The theme integrated the Tunisia's ideal of participation, promoted Tunisia's development strategy, proved the Tunisia's highly advocating of opening-up as well as its eagerness to communicate with other cultures and civilizations, he added.
Wang Sifa, China's deputy commissioner general to Expo 2010, said that China and Tunisia have enjoyed mutual respect and trust as well as smooth development of bilateral ties since the two set up diplomatic relations 46 years ago.
Tunisia Pavilion employs cultural symbols such as Tunisian traditional music and unique spice to show the country's beautiful scenery, diversified culture and long civilization, Wang said.

Themed “Enthusiastic City, Connected City,” the Tunisia Pavilion incorporates elements of magnificent Islamic architecture on the Mediterranean Sea. It showcases ancient and modern culture. The interior of the pavilion recreates a traditional courtyard, garden and fountain based on buildings such as the famous Sidi Bousaid. The area is filled with sweet Tunisian music and the aromas of flowers, fruit, cuisine, Tunisian coffee and mint tea.
